Restore and preserve your most meaningful photos.

Old photographs aren’t just images, they’re family memories, personal milestones, and once-in-a-lifetime moments that can’t be recreated. Over time they fade, tear, and deteriorate.
At Heritage Restoration Studio, each photo is carefully restored and brought back to life with precision and respect for its original character.
Each restoration is completed manually using professional tools and a detail-focused approach tailored to the specific condition of your photo. Whether your photo has minor wear or severe damage, it will be preserved for generations to come.
Meticulous photo restoration
Each restoration involves a combination of:
- Repairing scratches, tears, creases, and surface damage
- Removing stains, fading, noise, and discoloration
- Reconstructing missing or damaged areas
- Enhancing clarity and detail
- Optional colorization of black-and-white photos
Ideal for
- Old family photos
- Damaged prints
- Scanned archival images
Whether the damage is minor or severe, the goal is always the same: a natural, seamless restoration that honors the original image. Every image is approached individually. No presets, no shortcuts.
Quality restoration depends on attention to detail. Some photos require subtle corrections, while others need extensive reconstruction that could take hours.
The goal isn’t to just “fix” your photo, but to bring it back to life while respecting its authentic character.

How it works
A simple, thoughtful workflow:
- Submit your photo using the form
- Your photo is assessed
- The restoration is carefully completed
- You receive a high resolution, high quality JPEG perfect for printing, sharing, and archiving
- Revisions are available if needed
Every step is handled with attention to detail and clear communication.
Uploading your photo
For best results, scan your photo using a flatbed scanner. A smartphone photo works well too, if taken carefully. If using your phone to take a digital photo of your physical photo:
- Place the photo on a flat, clean surface
- Shoot in natural daylight near a window (no flash)
- Hold your phone’s camera directly above the photo, not at an angle
- Hold perfectly still, or put your phone in a stand
- Avoid glare, shadows, or reflections
- Capture the entire photo, edge to edge, filling as much of your camera’s frame as possible
- You can also upload a close up shot of each face and other sections of the photo, in addition to the whole photo. Ideally, that would give me more detail to work with.
A good scan or clear, sharp, well-lit photo with additional close up shots will lead to the best possible restoration. I may request a clearer photo if needed to achieve the best result.

Simple, flexible pricing
Most restoration services require you to commit to a price before seeing the result.
Here, it works differently.
Heritage Restoration Studio uses a trust-based pricing model, where you decide what the work is worth to you after the restoration is complete. Every restoration is different, so pricing isn’t fixed.
You choose what feels fair based on the restoration.
It’s a simple idea, one built on fairness, transparency, and respect for the value of the final image.

Why choose Heritage Restoration Studio
